John read a story about the friend and how they have known each other since elementary school. It was a full page in length and John read the whole thing to the group.
Our school district has monthly meetings for the parents of students with autism or Asperger's Syndrome. John was asked to attend along with one of his friends who has Asperger's. The friend comes over every Saturday to spend time with John. Here's a picture of them at the parents' meeting.
